You always hear horror stories about contractors or people doing work on your house, etc. but working with GTFM was quite literally the opposite from the moment we met them. We had them put an addition on our side yard, consisting of a new bedroom and a large family room and the process was seamless. every cost was itemized, no payments until the project started and their communication and response time for any questions or concern was timely. The entire project was complete ahead of schedule and we were never waiting on them to get things finished. I was very nervous going into this project, but I could not have asked for a better experience. I can’t wait to watch the Giants lose in my new living room!!!

They are a bunch of efficient people: from the design stage to the end. They've made up for the lost time whether it be permit related or weather related delay. Quality work, too. In terms of price, middle of the road, neither cheap nor expensive according to my neighbor who introduced GTFM to me. It's office also get things done efficiently. So you can get a good night sleep when you work with them.

My wife and I did intensive research to find a contractor. We met with several companies, but the comfort level was not there. Some seemed too eager to start without explaining the process, others were not professional, and the rest were not knowledgeable on the permits and process to complete a project in the Clifton area.We finally met with GTFM, and all of those worries and concerns disappeared. The consultant was very professional and went out his way to explain the process. I especially liked that they were flexible with the hours and managed to meet with us late afternoon after we arrived home from work.Our project is nearly done, almost four weeks ahead of schedule! They were very helpful in arriving at a final design, incorporating extras and adapting to the few changes we requested. The quality of the work is excellent, we are very happy with the new space. One of the best qualities of the team at GTFM is the very rapid response time to questions via text, email, or phone - sometimes within minutes. Rick Sr was outstanding managing the project and patiently explained details with us. It was a bit challenging in the midst of Covid raging and materials shortages, but all came together just fine. The crew even helped us move new furniture in at the end when we discovered we would have to take the doors off to get it inside. After 35 years of living in the same home in Ramsey, we decided undertake an addition to the back of our home, something we had contemplated for many years but didn’t pursue until we established contact with GTFM. We were intrigued by several elements of the GTFM design build proposal. GTFM provided us with a number of conceptual drawings, which allowed us to determine the placement and specific configuration of the addition. Once the final design was established GTFM engaged the services of an architect to complete the construction drawings. We then met with the owner, Rick, who reviewed the project and construction schedule with us in detail. Rick communicated with us on a daily basis throughout the construction process. The project was completed within the six-week schedule as specified and within the cost parameters agreed upon. We couldn’t be more pleased with the professional manner in which this project was handled throughout the marketing, design and construction phase. We have been enjoying our addition for over a year now and our only regret is we didn’t meet Rick sooner. We recommend GTFM highly with no reservations whatsoever.

Our Center hall Colonial was failing us as our need for an accessible first floor master suite became apparent. Stuck on the side of our house was an underused three season room which had outlived its usefulness long ago. Rick and his team were the only ones who were able to grasp our impending need and deadline (hip surgery) and MADE IT HAPPEN. The house flows better, and the addition is First Class in every aspect.Every bit of care and preparation was used before getting started; GTFM came to our house and showed us, suggested to us and related to us what would or would not work.
